Baiweikang is the brand name of Qinghuangle, with its generic name being Chitosan Antibacterial Biomedical Adhesive. This product contains certain traditional Chinese medicinal ingredients such as honeysuckle, gardenia, and scutellaria extracts, which possess the effects of clearing heat and detoxifying, as well as promoting diuresis and eliminating jaundice. These ingredients can facilitate bilirubin metabolism and excretion, thereby aiding in the treatment of jaundice. However, chitosan antibacterial biomedical adhesive serves merely as an adjunctive therapy. Prolonged jaundice or recurrence necessitates prompt medical attention.

In clinical settings, for mild cases of jaundice, blue light phototherapy can be administered under medical supervision. This accelerates bilirubin decomposition and excretion, effectively treating jaundice.
