What Does Thyroid 4B Mean?
Thyroid 4B is usually used to assess the grade of thyroid nodules through ultrasonography, and grade 4B indicates a certain degree of malignancy, requiring detailed examination. Thyroid nodules are typically classified into grades 1 to 6, and nodules of grade 4 and above may pose a risk of canceration.
If the examination results indicate a benign nodule, it can be treated through surgical resection of the lesion. Postoperatively, attention should be paid to wound care to prevent infection. If it is a malignant nodule, after surgical resection, chemotherapy and radiotherapy should be used as adjuvant treatments to inhibit the growth and spread of cancer cells.
In daily life, it is necessary to maintain a light diet and reduce the intake of spicy foods such as chili peppers and spicy hotpots to avoid worsening the condition.
