How should konjac be consumed for weight loss?
There are various ways to consume konjac for weight loss, including konjac tofu and vegetarian konjac, which are both excellent choices for a fat-reducing diet. Konjac itself has the benefits of promoting bowel movement, aiding digestion, and helping with weight loss. Eating konjac correctly on a daily basis can achieve good weight loss results. Although konjac has good weight loss effects, it is not recommended to consume excessively.
① Konjac Tofu: Cut the purchased konjac into small pieces and boil in boiling water for a few minutes. Heat the oil and add ginger and garlic, then stir-fry the konjac. Add dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, salt, bean paste, and chicken bouillon to the pan for seasoning. Add a small amount of water and cook for a few minutes to allow the konjac to absorb the flavors fully. Sprinkle with garlic sprouts before serving.
② Vegetarian Konjac: Boil water and briefly dip the konjac tofu in it, then remove and set aside. Heat peanut oil in a pan and add chili bean paste, ginger, onion, and garlic to stir-fry. Add the konjac, along with cooking wine, sugar, and salt, and stir-fry for a while. Add water and braise for a moment, then add green garlic sprouts and stir-fry until ready to serve.
Konjac has some disadvantages that make it unsuitable for certain individuals, including those with poor digestive system function, skin diseases, cold body constitution, and pregnant women. These groups should be cautious and limit their consumption of konjac in daily life.
