"Does Ovarian Tumor Exhibit Blood Flow Signals Within?"
Symptoms of Blood Flow Signals in Ovarian Tumors
Blood flow signals in ovarian tumors often manifest as abdominal distension, abdominal masses, ascites, pelvic fluid accumulation, and irregular menstruation. These symptoms may indicate disease progression. It is recommended to seek medical attention promptly for detailed examination and treatment.
1. Abdominal Distension
Abdominal distension may arise from the increased pressure on surrounding tissues by ovarian tumors, leading to gastrointestinal dysfunction and indigestion. It typically occurs in the upper or lower abdomen but can spread to the entire abdomen.
2. Abdominal Masses
When ovarian tumors undergo necrosis or bleeding, they can enlarge, resulting in abdominal masses. These masses are usually located on one side of the lower abdomen and may shift with changes in posture.
3. Ascites
Ascites occurs due to tumor compression or invasion of the peritoneum, causing fluid to seep into the abdominal cavity. It is characterized by abdominal swelling, dull percussion sounds, and pronounced distension on both sides of the waist.
4. Pelvic Fluid Accumulation
Pelvic fluid accumulation is primarily caused by inflammation or tumors. These conditions stimulate the walls of pelvic organs, increasing local exudation and forming fluid accumulations. Patients may experience lower back pain, rectal discomfort, frequent urination, urgency, and dysuria.
5. Irregular Menstruation
Ovarian tumors accompanied by blood flow signals may disrupt endocrine function, affecting normal menstrual cycles. Symptoms include early or delayed menstruation, excessive or scanty bleeding.
Diagnosis and Treatment
It is advisable to undergo ultrasound, CT scans, or MRI to assess blood flow signals in ovarian tumors. Doctors may also recommend tumor marker tests if necessary. For benign ovarian cysts without symptoms, regular follow-ups suffice. However, malignant ovarian cysts require prompt surgical removal, along with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or other adjuvant therapies. Patients should rest adequately, avoid overexertion, and maintain a positive mindset for optimal health.
