Syndrome Differentiation and Treatment of Benign Tongue Tumors in Traditional Chinese Medicine:

As follows:

1. Fire-toxin and Blood Stasis Type.

Main Symptoms: A lump on one side of the tongue, hard to the touch, or accompanied by ulcers, erosion, burning sensation, infection, sometimes drooling, bad breath, dryness, constipation, red tongue body or purple tongue, thin yellow moss on the tongue, thin and taut pulse.

Treatment: Clear heat, resolve blood stasis, detoxify, reduce swelling, and disperse the lump.

2. Heart and Spleen Fire Depression Type.

Main Symptoms: Thickened or hardened tongue, resembling beans, erosion, drooling, thirst, desire for alcohol, yellow urine, yellow tongue coating, rapid pulse.
