What Causes Pain in the Shoulders, Wrists, and Joints?
Pain in the wrists and joints is often associated with local cold exposure, inflammation around the shoulder joint, cervical spondylosis, and other factors.
1. Local Cold Exposure: If one is exposed to a relatively cold environment for a long time without taking warm measures, the shoulders and wrists are stimulated by the cold, resulting in poor local blood circulation and potential pain symptoms.
2. Periarthritis of the Shoulder: This mainly refers to degenerative changes in the shoulder joint and surrounding tissues, related to long-term poor posture. Generally, there is pain and limited movement around the shoulder joint. As the disease progresses, it can affect other parts of the body, such as the wrists.
3. Cervical Spondylosis: Cervical spondylosis is related to poor posture, long-term overactivity, and other factors. If it is nerve root cervical spondylosis, it can easily compress nerves, leading to numbness or pain in the shoulders and upper limbs.
Apart from the above common factors, one should also be vigilant about rotator cuff injuries. It is recommended to promptly visit an orthopedic department for examination and treatment. Generally, it is necessary to take good care of the shoulders and wrist joints, avoid lifting heavy objects for long periods, and rest appropriately if overexerted.
