Where are the acupuncture points Zusanli, Sanyinjiao, Hegu, and Qihai located?
Zusanli (ST 36), Sanyinjiao (SP 6) are usually located on the medial side of the lower leg, while Hegu (LI 4) is located on the back of the hand, and Qihai (CV 6) is located in the lower abdomen. Proper massage of these acupoints can be done under medical guidance.

1. Zusanli (ST 36) is located on the lateral side of the lower leg, 3 cun below Dubi (a point below the kneecap), which can strengthen the spleen and stomach, promote digestion, and resolve phlegm. It can improve vomiting, abdominal distension, and other symptoms caused by dyspepsia, as well as alleviate pain and limited mobility in the lower limbs.
2. Sanyinjiao (SP 6) is located on the medial side of the lower leg, 3 cun above the tip of the medial malleolus, at the posterior border of the medial tibial condyle. It can promote blood circulation, regulate menstruation, nourish qi, and strengthen the spleen. It can improve abdominal pain, amenorrhea, and other symptoms caused by menstrual disorders, as well as alleviate urogenital diseases.
3. Hegu (LI 4), also known as the Tiger's Mouth, is located between the first and second metacarpal bones on the back of the hand. It has a pain-relieving effect and can be used to alleviate pain caused by various diseases, such as headaches, red and swollen eyes, sore throat, etc.
4. Qihai (CV 6) is located on the anterior midline of the lower abdomen, 5 cun below the navel. It can benefit the lower jiao and tonify qi, improving symptoms such as menstrual pain, diarrhea, and menstrual irregularities.
In daily life, one should always pay attention to the body's changes after massage. If there are obvious discomforts, standard medical treatment should be sought promptly.
