What Measures Can Be Taken to Prevent Lumbar Tuberculosis?
1. Purchase UV lights, master the correct usage, and frequently disinfect the patient's living room.
2. Encourage and care for patients, enhancing their confidence in fighting the disease and being cured of tuberculosis.
3. Strengthen the patient's nutrition with a high-protein, high-sugar, high-fat diet. Patients should not take medication with milk or sugar water.
4. Boil the patient's utensils in boiling water and store them separately. Frequently expose the patient's clothing and bedding to sunlight. The patient and their family members should sleep separately.
5. When one person is ill, the entire family should undergo a medical examination, pay attention to prevention, and avoid infection.
6. Accompany the patient to seek medical attention, listen to the doctor's advice, accept publicity and education on tuberculosis prevention and control, and understand knowledge about tuberculosis prevention and control.
7. Urge and help patients develop good habits such as not coughing or sneezing randomly, and not spitting anywhere. Add bleach or "84" disinfectant to containers.
8. Advise patients to avoid marrying, getting pregnant, feeding, or kissing during the active phase of the illness.
