Why Do I Feel Nauseous After Having Sex?
Feeling nauseous after intercourse may be caused by various reasons such as systemic diseases, taking contraceptives, physical weakness, and intense sexual activity.
1. Systemic Diseases: The nausea symptoms that occur after sexual activity are not caused by the sexual activity itself, but rather by underlying systemic diseases such as gastrointestinal diseases, pharyngeal diseases, hepatobiliary diseases, as well as urinary tract stones, inflammation, glaucoma, refractive errors, epilepsy, and craniocerebral injuries.
2. Taking Contraceptives: The nausea symptoms after sexual activity may be caused by taking contraceptives. The main reason is that effective contraceptive measures were not taken during sexual activity, and emergency contraceptives were taken to prevent pregnancy. However, contraceptives can cause a series of side effects such as nausea, vomiting, and irregular menstruation.
3. Physical Weakness: If the nausea symptoms occur after sexual activity, they may be related to physical weakness, such as weakness caused by gastrointestinal diseases or colds, or inherent physical weakness, resulting in exhaustion due to prolonged intercourse.
4. Intense Sexual Activity: The nausea symptoms after sexual activity may be due to intense sexual activity, long duration of sexual activity, or deep insertion, which can cause abdominal compression and affect the gastrointestinal tract, resulting in nausea symptoms.
