What Are the Benefits of Eating Peanuts and Red Dates Together?
Peanuts and red dates can be consumed together as both of these ingredients are rich in trace elements and proteins. They have excellent effects on replenishing qi and nourishing the spleen, nourishing blood and calming the nerves, as well as strengthening the spleen and stomach. They are suitable for women with insufficient qi and blood or people with symptoms such as dizziness. Peanut and red date soup can be made by boiling these two ingredients together for about half an hour and adding an appropriate amount of honey before consumption. However, it is important to be aware of its contraindications.

Ingredients: 200 grams of peanuts (with shells), 30-50 grams of red dates. Preparation: Place the red dates and peanuts in a pot, add an appropriate amount of water, and boil until the peanuts are soft and cooked.

Preparation: Place the peanuts and red dates in a pot, add an appropriate amount of water, and boil over low heat until the red dates are soft and cooked. Then stir in some rock sugar and mix well. Soak a handful of peanuts (about 50) in water for half an hour, then place them in a pot with the red dates and add three and a half bowls of water. Boil for half an hour and then serve. When the temperature cools to about 40 degrees Celsius, add an appropriate amount of honey for a better taste.
(1) Do not consume rotten or spoiled red dates as they can cause microbial growth. The pectic acid and methanol produced by the decomposition of pectin by the pectic enzyme in rotten red dates can be further decomposed into formaldehyde and methanol. Consuming rotten red dates can cause symptoms such as dizziness, eye irritation, and even life-threatening conditions in severe cases.

(3) Do not consume red dates with cucumber or radish as radish contains ascorbic acid enzyme and cucumber contains vitamin-decomposing enzymes, both of which can destroy the vitamins in other foods.
