Prescription: Modified Simiao Huoxue Decoction.

III. Yang Deficiency and Cold

Ingredients: Shudi (Prepared Rehmannia Root) 30g, Lujiaojiao (Deer Antler Glue) 10g, Rougui (Cinnamon Bark) 3g, Jiangtan (Charred Ginger) 3g, Baijiezi (White Mustard Seed) 10g, Mahuang (Ephedra Herb) 3g, Gancao (Licorice Root) 3g. For qi and blood stasis, add Jixueteng and Guijianyu. If abscess forms locally, add Shenghuangqi, Zaojiao, and Chuanshanjia to promote qi and drain pus. Prescription: Wenyang Decoction.

IV. Intense Heat Toxin

Ingredients: Jinyinhua (Honeysuckle Flower) 30g, Yejuhua (Chrysanthemum Indicum Flower) 15g, Gongying (Dandelion) 20g, Zihuadiding (Viola Yedoensis) 15g, Zibeitiankui (Malva Verticillata) 12g, Chishao 15g, Danpi (Moutan Bark) 10g, Xuanshen 15g, Cheqianzi (Plantago Seed) 15g, Chixiaodou (Red Bean) 30g. For excessive decayed tissue and foul odor, add Huzhang and Tufuling to detoxify and eliminate impurities.
