How Can I Relieve Headaches Without Medicine?
Headache is a symptom that everyone may encounter, mainly caused by factors such as nervous tension, irregular work and rest, and diseases. When a headache occurs, one should rest more and take medication to relieve the symptoms. If there is no medication available, physical therapy and dietary therapy can be chosen to alleviate the headache. Physical therapy is very effective for headache, and common methods include acupuncture, massage, and cold compress, which can inhibit the excitement of brain nerves.
Cold compress can effectively relieve headache, which is very effective and easy to operate. Ice packs can be applied to the temples to reduce the temperature of the blood in the head and achieve the effect of relieving headache. Alternatively, a wet towel can be applied to the head and replaced with a cool towel when it becomes warm. By doing this for about 20 minutes, the symptoms of headache can be alleviated.
Using grated white radish and peppermint ice can treat migraine. When feeling a migraine attack, grate a small amount of radish and extract its juice. Then, take an appropriate amount of fresh mint leaves, grate them, and extract the juice. Mix the two juices together, add a small amount of ice, stir well, and drip the mixed juice into the nostril. For left-sided headache, drip into the right nostril, and for right-sided headache, drip into the left nostril. This can relieve or even eliminate the headache.
Using hot milk to mix with egg can treat migraine. Take a raw egg, break it into a cup, and stir well. Heat and boil an appropriate amount of milk in a pot, and then pour it into the egg cup, mixing it evenly. Drink a cup once a day for seven consecutive days as a course of treatment, which can treat migraine.
Every morning after waking up, place your hands before and behind your neck, and rub back and forth 30 times each. Then, use both hands to rub up and down 30 times behind each ear. Alternatively, place the fingertips of both hands on the most painful part of the head and gently comb and massage it rapidly for 100 repetitions. Do this three times a day to relieve headache. If the headache is accompanied by nausea, you can pinch the lower part of both big toes simultaneously with both hands, applying appropriate pressure to relieve the symptoms.
