However, B-ultrasound can be performed during menstruation only when necessary for the diagnosis of certain diseases, such as adenomyosis and endometriosis, which may present with bleeding during menstruation. This allows for a more accurate diagnosis. Still, some gynecological diseases must be examined during vaginal bleeding, such as bleeding during sexual intercourse. Examination during bleeding is more conducive to identifying the source of bleeding, helping to determine whether it is due to vaginal wall injury or cervical polyp bleeding. Other gynecological diseases like cervical erosion bleeding and postmenopausal bleeding should also be examined during bleeding to facilitate early detection of malignant tumors.
