There is no specific medication for anal polyps in clinical practice, and surgical treatment is often required. Some patients may experience recurrence after removal and may require multiple surgeries. Anal polyps refer to elevated lesions occurring in the mucous membrane around the anus or within the anal canal, belonging to a type of colorectal polyps. They are usually located at the anus opening or within the anal canal wall, often appearing as round or oval, soft in texture and smooth in surface, and can exist singly or multiply. Surgical treatment is primarily used in clinical practice, supplemented by corresponding symptomatic treatment according to symptoms.
