Part 1: How to Make Mulberry Wine?

Method 1:

1. Making mulberry wine is quite simple. Prepare fresh mulberries and corn starch, as well as pure grain liquor with an alcohol content of over 50 degrees. Place the mulberries in a bowl, add the corn starch, and then pour in water. Mix gently and soak for 15 minutes. Rinse the mulberries with water.

2. Remove excess water from the washed mulberries and place them in a cool, shady spot to dry. Transfer the dried mulberries to a large glass jar and add the prepared liquor. The ratio of mulberries to liquor should be around 3:1. Seal the jar and store it in a cool place. After one month, the mulberry wine will be ready. The longer it is brewed, the higher its nutritional value and better its taste.

Method 2:

1. To make mulberry wine at home, you can also prepare 2500 grams of fresh mulberries, 1000 grams of rice, and an appropriate amount of yeast. Clean the mulberries with water and dry them completely.

2. Crush the mulberries and soak the rice in water for half a day. After washing, cook the rice until it becomes soft and steamed. Then place it in a steamer for further steaming. After steaming, add an appropriate amount of yeast and let it ferment in a suitable environment.

3. Mix the mulberries with the steamed glutinous rice and transfer the mixture to a clay pot for secondary fermentation. After 50 to 60 days, the mulberry wine will be ready. Filter the liquid and enjoy the delicious mulberry wine.
