It is recommended to reduce the intake of protein-rich foods, such as lean meat from animals. Eating excessive amounts of acidic foods from animals can burden the kidneys and potentially affect surrounding neuropathic pain. It is essential to drink plenty of water to accelerate the metabolism and excretion of acidic substances that cause pain. Additionally, incorporating foods rich in magnesium and calcium into the diet can help strengthen bones and muscles.
