Especially for people with sensitive skin, it is important to closely observe whether there are severe skin diseases. Scratches on the body may be caused by skin trauma, skin scratching disease, or paederus dermatitis. Sudden appearance of red scratches on the patient's body is most commonly caused by skin trauma. There are other conditions that can also cause red scratches to appear on patients. First, it may be a physical urticaria, also known as skin scratching disease, which manifests as red scratches distributed along the scratching direction on the skin, accompanied by obvious skin swelling or weal-like tissue. Some patients may have a significant feeling of itching, while others may not. For skin scratching disease, antihistamines such as cetirizine and ketotifen are mainly used for treatment. Secondly, if the patient suddenly develops some red scratches on their body, accompanied by obvious pain, blisters, skin ulceration, and exudation, it may be a case of paederus dermatitis. This condition is mainly treated with topical glucocorticoids such as hydrocortisone cream, and the wound should be kept clean and dry.
