What Are the Common Symptoms of Blocked Large Intestine Meridian?
The main symptoms of a blocked Large Intestine Meridian include toothache, dry mouth, gastrointestinal discomfort, and skin allergies. The Large Intestine Meridian, also known as the Hand Yangming Meridian, is one of the Twelve Meridians. It nourishes yang energy, generates body fluids, and promotes bowel movement. A blockage in the Large Intestine Meridian can lead to imbalances in other organs, causing large intestine diseases, toothache, sore throat, and other symptoms. It can also manifest as neck swelling, chronic pharyngitis, and shoulder pain.
The Large Intestine Meridian, as the Hand Yangming Meridian, nourishes yang energy, generates body fluids, and promotes bowel movement in the Twelve Meridians. When the qi of the Large Intestine Meridian is blocked and undergoes abnormal changes, it can lead to toothache, headache, dry mouth, skin allergies, weakened gastrointestinal function, and toxin accumulation.
Acupoints: Zhigou, Tianshu, Zusanli, Dachangshu, Baliao. Procedure: Lie prone and apply cupping to Dachangshu and Baliao, leaving the cups for 10-15 minutes, once daily, for 10 days as a course of treatment.
