How to Interpret the Results of a Drug Urine Test Strip?
A positive result on a urine drug test strip indicates drug use, while a negative result indicates no drug use. Simply put, one line appearing indicates a positive result, and two lines indicate a negative result. If an invalid result appears, a new test panel should be used for retesting. Generally, only one out of 2000 test panels will be invalid. Note that if one line appears darker than the other, as long as the lighter line is visible to the naked eye, the result indicates a negative.
If it is unclear which drug the individual has taken, it is recommended to use multiple test panels first to determine the specific drug, and then use a single test panel specific to that drug for long-term monitoring and prevention of drug use.
Unified testing method: First, collect the urine of the person being tested using a clean plastic cup as the collection tool. Paper cups should not be used. Tear open the aluminum foil bag of the drug test strip and take out the test panel (note: remove the drug urine test panel and place it flat on the desktop. The test panel should not be tilted or held in your hand). At the same time, take out your phone and set it to a timer. Then use a straw to draw up the urine and drop 2 to 3 drops onto the test panel, no more than 3 drops. Start the timer on your phone immediately after adding the urine and wait patiently for the test results. The timing should be set for 5 minutes. Observe the results at the end of the 5-minute period. Results obtained after 5 minutes may not be accurate as the urine in the test panel may start to flow back, potentially altering the test results.
