How Should I Use Guhong Injection?
This medication is indicated for the treatment of cerebrovascular diseases such as cerebral insufficiency, cerebral thrombosis, cerebral embolism, and the recovery phase of cerebral hemorrhage. It can also be used for conditions such as liver disease, decreased consciousness and intellectual function, and memory impairment resulting from neurological surgery. Additionally, it is effective in the treatment of coronary heart disease and vasculitis.
Acute toxicity tests have shown that the maximum tolerated dose for intravenous injection in mice is 80ml/kg. The LD50 for intravenous injection in mice is greater than 80ml/kg, indicating a high safety margin. Safety experiments have demonstrated that Gu Hong Injection has no significant irritant effect on rabbit veins. Allergy tests have shown that it does not cause sensitization in guinea pigs. In vitro hemolysis tests have revealed no hemolytic or aggregating effects on rabbit red blood cells within 4 hours at various concentrations.
1. Avoid spicy and greasy foods, maintain emotional balance, and refrain from excessive worrying and overexertion.
2. Children should use this medication under the guidance of a doctor.
3. In rare cases, allergic reactions may occur after administration. Generally, symptoms will resolve spontaneously after discontinuation of the medication. However, patients with severe symptoms should seek medical attention.
