How many times should I take Enteric for intestinal parasites per year?
Generally speaking, it is sufficient to take Entrobactin once a year. Entrobactin can treat parasitic infections, but in case of cysticercosis infection, it can be taken once every three months, and good results can be achieved after 1 to 3 courses of treatment. For ascariasis infection, it can be taken once a year. For echinococcosis infection, it needs to be taken every 7 to 10 days, and at least 5 courses of treatment should be adhered to for good therapeutic effect. Entrobactin is mainly used to treat intestinal ascariasis and pinworm infections in children. If there is a clear infection, it is recommended to use it at most once every six months, and it is not recommended for long-term regular use.
The main transmission route of ascariasis and pinworm is fecal-oral transmission. The most important thing is to maintain good personal hygiene, wash hands before meals and after going to the bathroom, and avoid eating uncooked food, so as to prevent ascariasis and pinworm infections thoroughly. One should not rely solely on Entrobactin and other deworming drugs, as long-term use may lead to intestinal environment disorders, ectopic parasitism of worms, drug resistance, etc.
It is not necessary for normal people to take Entrobactin, as this medication should not be taken randomly. If a patient is infected with parasites such as Trichuris or Hookworm, Entrobactin can be used to treat it. This medication can inhibit the parasite's absorption of glucose in the body and kill the parasites inside the body. Patients can usually achieve good results after taking two to three courses of treatment. Entrobactin itself contains certain toxins, so it should be prohibited for patients with acute diseases, proteinuria, suppurative or diffuse dermatitis, severe liver, kidney, or heart dysfunction. In addition, if the patient has certain allergic reactions to this medication, it should also be prohibited.
