Why Do I Often Experience Scalp Pain?
Common scalp pain is caused by insufficient sleep, mental stress, dietary factors, facial diseases, and infections.
1. Insufficient Sleep: Regular work and rest can allow the brain to get sufficient rest. Conversely, if sleep is insufficient, it can affect blood circulation and the body's metabolism, and interfere with the brain's rest. If one stays up late or suffers from long-term insomnia, it is easy to experience headaches.
2. Mental Stress: The brain is very fragile and can easily be stimulated by external factors. If daily life pressure is too high, it is easy to experience tension, anxiety, and depression. These negative emotions stimulate brain nerves, causing excessive tension in the brain and leading to headaches.
3. Dietary Factors: Regular headaches may also be related to unhealthy eating habits. For example, coffee can cause neural excitation. Although it has a refreshing effect, excessive consumption can stimulate the nerve center, dilate blood vessels, and cause headaches. Alcohol, ice cream, and other foods can also cause headaches.
4. Facial Diseases: The eyes, ears, mouth, nose, and throat are very close to the brain. Lesions in these areas may stimulate the brain's neural tissue, causing headaches. Neck tumors and inflammation can also cause headaches.
5. Infection: The pain-sensitive tissue of the meninges is abundant. In brain infections, pain-sensitive tissue secretes active substances, leading to cerebral edema. Overstretching of the meninges and blood vessels can cause headaches. Diseases such as brain abscesses, meningitis, and infectious pneumonia can cause headaches.
