What Causes Chest Pain and No Pain?

Chest pain and the absence of pain may be caused by factors such as breast hyperplasia and breast nodules.

  1. Breast Hyperplasia: Breast hyperplasia is caused by abnormal expression of estrogen and progesterone in the body. Compensatory hyperplasia of the breast, especially in patients with a long history of the condition, can also lead to the formation of hyperplastic nodules, manifesting as breast swelling, chest pain, and no pain.
  2. Breast Nodules: Small lumps in the breast are known as breast nodules. Benign nodules have clear outlines, are movable, and do not adhere to the skin. They may sometimes be accompanied by breast swelling and pain, with chest pain being painless. However, malignant nodules have unclear outlines, are not easily movable, adhere to the skin, and are painless, but may be accompanied by symptoms such as nipple discharge or nipple retraction.

There are many causes of chest pain. It is recommended that patients promptly visit the hospital and, under the guidance of a professional physician, identify the specific cause and then undergo corresponding treatment. Meanwhile, attention should be paid to maintaining local hygiene and cleanliness to avoid infection, getting enough rest, and avoiding excessive fatigue.
