Vomiting caused by chemotherapy or surgery is mainly due to the stimulation of relevant factors on the intestinal mucosa, releasing 5-HT, which binds to corresponding receptors, leading to nausea and vomiting.

2. Dosage of Tropisetron Injection

For vomiting caused by chemotherapy, Tropisetron should be administered as a rapid intravenous drip before the first day of chemotherapy or administered slowly as an intravenous bolus. From the 2nd to 6th day, oral administration can be used instead.
