The thawed milk can generally only be kept for one day, and it cannot be consumed if it exceeds one day. Because if the thawed milk is placed for more than one day, it will breed many bacteria, which will harm human health and cause symptoms such as diarrhea and abdominal pain. If the body's spleen and stomach are weak, it is easy to develop diarrhea. If diarrhea occurs frequently, it is not recommended to drink milk taken out of the refrigerator, and warm food is preferred. How to preserve breast milk:
1. The best way to preserve breast milk is to refrigerate or freeze it. The required temperature for refrigerated breast milk is 2-4℃, and it can be preserved for 24h. Store breast milk in storage bags and store them in the coldest place in the freezer and refrigerator.
2. Frozen breast milk has certain requirements for temperature, which needs to be -18℃. Its shelf life can reach 3 months, and it is safe to feed babies within 3 months without sterilization.
3. If it is fresh breast milk, it can be preserved for 4h at a room temperature of 25-37℃, and 8h at a room temperature of 15-25℃. Therefore, breast milk cannot be kept above 37℃. It is safe to feed your baby within the shelf life without sterilization.
4. If you take out frozen breast milk from the refrigerator, you need to thaw it first and heat it to 38-39℃ with warm water. You can also use a milk warmer to quickly warm it up without destroying the nutritional components of breast milk. Do not use a microwave or boiling water to heat it. Take out breast milk according to the feeding amount each time, and do not repeatedly warm it. Discard any leftover after warming.
