Pain on the face's skin troubles most of us, yet people lack a clear understanding of it. We need to comprehend this issue to effectively prevent and treat it. Facial paralysis attacks cause suffering for many, and many patients with facial paralysis endure pain but cannot properly alleviate it, making it easier for their condition to worsen, and sometimes even increasing their psychological burden.
Treatment Methods for Facial Pain Due to Facial Paralysis:
- The facial muscles are thin and often become relaxed and weak after paralysis, so local massage should be performed after illness onset. Method: Use your hands to perform circular massages close to the paralyzed side muscles, three times a day, with each session lasting 10 to 15 minutes.
- Pay attention to rest, avoid overexertion, reduce going out, avoid direct wind exposure, do not wash your face with cold water, wear a mask when going out to prevent colds and avoid catching a cold. Eat foods rich in vitamins, especially those rich in B vitamins.
- General Care: Avoid wind and cold, wear a mask when going out, keep the face warm, soak a towel in hot water at about 70 degrees Celsius, and apply it wet to the affected side of the face, 5-6 times a day, with each session lasting 10 minutes.
