What Should I Do About Having a Small Genitalia?

Update Date: Source: Network

If the reproductive organ is short, penis enlargement surgery can be performed to improve and treat it. The penis of an adult male should reach 5-6cm when flaccid, and the erect length should be twice as long as when flaccid. If the length of the penis when flaccid is less than 4cm and the erect length is less than 8cm, it indicates that the penis is too short, and surgery can be considered. However, surgical damage to nerves may cause erectile dysfunction, so careful consideration is needed.

What to do if the reproductive organ is short

After puberty, the size of the male penis is basically determined, and many adult men have a penis that is less than 10 centimeters long when erect, and appears similar to a child's penis when flaccid. This is the symptoms of a short penis. However, male patients can be treated with penis enlargement surgery.

Penis enlargement refers to the use of formal surgical methods to extend a short penis caused by poor development or other reasons to a normal length. Surgical indications include:

  • Poor penis development or partial loss due to trauma, with an erect length less than 10cm that cannot meet the partner's requirements.
  • Removal of most of the penis due to cancer, with no recurrence observed after 2 years of observation.

Surgical Procedure:

  1. After anesthesia, cut the skin and superficial fascia along the preoperative design line, and free the skin flap. At this time, 2-3 subcutaneous superficial veins can be seen in the penis. Cutting these veins will not cause blood flow obstruction in the penis.
  2. Separate towards the pubic bone to expose the superficial suspensory ligament of the penis. Separate the loose connective tissue and superficial fascia on both sides of the ligament, and completely cut the ligament close to the pubic symphysis. Then separate further to the deep suspensory ligament and cut part of it to reach the deep venous plexus of the penis. When cutting the deep suspensory ligament, avoid injuring the deep venous plexus of the penis to prevent venous blood flow obstruction and subsequent necrosis of the penis.
  3. Remove the hair follicles at the base of the penis. During suturing, push the C-shaped flap away from the penis in a "Y" shape, and then interlace the D and A triangular flaps to suture them in a "Z" shape.
