This drug is mainly used to treat gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer caused by excessive gastric acid secretion, especially when peptic ulcer is complicated by bleeding, and the patient is unable to take oral medications, intravenous administration of proton pump inhibitors is preferred.

2. Effect 2: This injection is also used in patients with hemorrhagic or erosive active duodenal ulcer. It can also be used as a short-term treatment for corrosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease. If the patient has severe mucosal injury during the acute treatment phase, rabeprazole sodium can also be used.

Precautions

Note 1: The symptoms treated with rabeprazole sodium do not exclude the possibility of gastric or esophageal cancer. Therefore, it is necessary to exclude the possibility of cancer before starting treatment with this drug. Although no significant drug-related safety issues were observed in a controlled study comparing patients with mild to moderate liver injury matched by age and gender to normal subjects, doctors recommend special caution when using this drug for the first time in patients with severe liver injury.

Note 2: Blood tests and blood biochemistry (such as liver enzyme tests) should be performed regularly during the administration of this drug. If abnormalities are found, discontinue the drug immediately and take timely measures.
