What Are the Signs of Ovulation Day?
The more obvious manifestations of ovulation day are increased body temperature, and the leucorrhea is different from usual, presenting as egg white-like and stretchy. During ovulation, the ovaries secrete progesterone, which regulates the body's temperature center, resulting in an increase in body temperature. On the day of ovulation, estrogen levels are relatively high, cervical mucus and vaginal mucosal secretions are abundant, and leucorrhea increases.
1. Body temperature change: During ovulation, body temperature rises by 0.3-0.6 degrees. After ovulation, due to the secretion of progesterone, the body temperature slightly rises after ovulation. If you can persist in measuring your basal body temperature every morning, you can find out your ovulation date based on the change in body temperature from low to slightly elevated.
2. Increased leucorrhea: During ovulation, there will be an increase in leucorrhea, usually on the day between two menstrual cycles. The leucorrhea is clear, bright, and abundant, resembling egg white or clear nasal mucus during a cold. This day is the ovulation period. This is because during ovulation, high concentrations of estrogen are produced, acting on the columnar epithelial cells of the cervical os, causing them to secrete a large amount of leucorrhea.
3. Decreased immunity: During ovulation, women's vaginal mucus becomes thinner, allowing sperm to pass through more easily and increasing the chances of successful conception. At the same time, women's nasal mucus also decreases, increasing the chances of bacteria invading the human circulatory system.
