This is known as the "Qi Bao Mei Hu Dan." Take 1 pill twice daily, accompanied by light salt water or warm water, avoiding spicy foods. Suitable for patients with baldness, recurrent hair loss, accompanied by weakness in bones and muscles, and thin tongue.

Prescription 2

Ingredients: Qiang Huo (Notopterygium root), Mu Gua (Chaenomeles speciosa), Tian Ma (Gastrodia elata), Dang Gui (Angelica sinensis), Bai Shao (white peony root), Da Ji, Shu Di Huang (prepared rehmannia root, steamed in wine), Chuan Xiong (Ligusticum wallichii) 120g each.

Grind all ingredients into a fine powder, mix with Dihuang Gao (rehmannia paste), and refine with honey into pills the size of wutong seeds. Finely cut the herbs, add 250g Sang Gen Bai Pi (mulberry root bark), and boil in 2000ml water until reduced to 500ml. Mix in 200ml juice from leek roots, soak overnight, wrap in oil, and simmer over low heat, stirring continuously until Bai Zhi turns yellow. Strain and pour into a ceramic container. Apply to hair, massaging in twice daily, promoting hair growth.

Prescription 4

Ingredients: Lian Hua Xu (dried lotus stamens), Ling Ling Xiang 3g each, Juan Bai Ye (Selaginella tamariscina), Bai Zhi, Chuan Xiong, Fang Feng 15g each.

Finely cut the herbs, wrap in cotton, add 70 raw peppercorns and 250g raw sesame oil. Soak in a new bottle, bury underground for 7 days, then remove and apply to hair for treatment.
