- Bathing Precautions: Limit bath time to prevent oxygen deprivation and fetal distress. Ideally, baths should not exceed 15 minutes or until symptoms of dizziness or chest tightness arise.
- Television Viewing: Limit viewing time to avoid eye strain, especially for those with pregnancy-induced hypertension. Avoid distressing programs that may negatively affect maternal and fetal emotions.
Can You Change Beds During Late Pregnancy?
- Changing beds in late pregnancy is permissible, but for those with insomnia or neurosis, it may disrupt sleep. In such cases, consider postponing the change until after delivery.
- Ensure the new bed's firmness and size match the old one to facilitate a seamless transition. Maintaining the original placement and using the same bedding can also aid in adaptation.
