Ciberal and Minshilang are both drugs used to treat vertigo, but their pharmacological mechanisms are different.

Ciberal is a preventive treatment for migraine, while Minshilang is effective in treating vertigo caused by migraine. However, taking them together can provide better treatment results for vertigo caused by insufficient blood supply.

The difference between Ciberal and Minshilang lies in their pharmacological mechanisms:

1. Minshilang, also known as betahistine mesilate tablets, is mainly used for vertigo diseases such as Ménière's disease and vestibular migraine. Its mechanism of action primarily involves improving the microcirculation of the inner ear cochlea.

2. Ciberal, also known as flunarizine hydrochloride capsules, is primarily used for the preventive treatment of migraine and vestibular migraine. It is a selective calcium antagonist that can block excessive calcium ion transmembrane entry into cells, preventing excessive calcium load in cells. It can also prevent a large amount of calcium from entering neurons during ischemia and hypoxia, thereby improving cerebral microcirculation and neuronal metabolism, inhibiting cerebral vascular spasms, and platelet aggregation to enhance cell membrane stability.

However, both drugs can be used together, especially for patients with poor blood supply and vestibular vertigo. Taking both drugs together often produces better results.
