What Should I Do If I Have Bleeding After Taking Mifepristone Tablets?
Mifepristone Tablets
Mifepristone tablets are a commonly used drug for terminating pregnancy, commonly known as abortion drugs. Women who become pregnant unexpectedly or do not want to continue the pregnancy within 49 days can choose medical abortion as a method of termination. Bleeding after taking mifepristone tablets is normal, and it is necessary to continue taking the remaining medication. If bleeding is excessive, consult a doctor promptly. It is best to use abortion drugs under the guidance of a doctor in a hospital, and patients should not self-medicate.
What to Do If Bleeding Occurs After Taking Mifepristone Tablets
Bleeding after taking mifepristone tablets is a normal phenomenon caused by the expulsion of pregnancy tissue, and there is no need to worry. If bleeding is excessive, consult a doctor or seek medical treatment promptly. Generally, mifepristone tablets are used in combination with misoprostol to achieve the effect of medical abortion. After bleeding occurs after taking mifepristone tablets, it is necessary to continue taking the remaining medication. Misoprostol should be taken in the hospital, and generally, the gestational sac will be expelled within eight hours after taking the medication.
