How to Treat Bullous Pemphigoid?

1. Adjustment of Treatment: Patients with bullous pemphigoid should drink more water to maintain water-electrolyte balance, timely supplement vitamins, proteins, and other nutrients to prevent deterioration of the condition.

2. Local Treatment: Since bullous pemphigoid can cause symptoms such as redness, swelling, pain, and itchiness in the local skin, attention should be paid to strengthening skin care for the damaged areas, keeping the local skin dry, avoiding scratching with hands, and not using excessively hot water for cleaning to prevent secondary infections.

3. Drug Treatment: Suitable for patients with severe bullous pemphigoid, glucocorticoids or antibiotics can be used. Commonly used drugs include methotrexate tablets, minocycline hydrochloride capsules, and methylprednisolone tablets, which should be used reasonably under the guidance of a professional doctor.

Apart from the above treatment methods, plasma exchange therapy or dietary adjustments can facilitate the recovery of bullous pemphigoid. During the treatment process, attention should also be paid to strengthening physical exercise, which helps improve immunity and promotes faster healing of the disease.
