Lindera glauca has a warm nature and can dispel wind-dampness and activate the meridians. It can be used to treat rheumatic paralysis or stroke patients who are unable to speak. The dried fruits of Lindera glauca can be roasted together with Huangjingzi, ground into powder, and then soaked in boiling water for consumption twice a day. Typically, visible results can be observed after continuous consumption for three to five days.

2. Detoxifying and Reducing Swelling

Lindera glauca can clear heat and detoxify, as well as eliminate swellings. For patients with swellings caused by abscess toxin, in the early stage of abscess, fresh leaves of Lindera glauca and tender leaves of maple tree can be washed together, pounded with a tool, and applied to the affected area to detoxify and reduce swelling.
