1. Ornidazole vaginal suppository is a third-generation nitroimidazole derivative, which can also be used to treat anaerobic bacterial infections, peritonitis, postoperative wound infections, postpartum pyemia, septic abortion, endometritis, and other infections caused by sensitive bacteria. It can also prevent anaerobic bacterial infections after various surgeries. It can also be used to treat protozoan infections, trichomonas infections, amoeba protozoan infections, and giardiasis.

Before use, the vulva should be cleaned first, and the suppository should be inserted deep into the vagina with gloves or finger cots, once a night, one suppository each time, and 7 to 10 consecutive days for a course of treatment. During treatment, the course of treatment must be sufficient to avoid drug resistance. It is not suitable to use medication during menstruation, and sexual activity should be avoided during treatment.
3. During the application of ornidazole vaginal suppository, there may occasionally be pain, swelling, and itching of the vulva skin.
