"How Should I Correctly Unload Makeup from the Eye Area?"

Update Date: Source: Network

If you don't remove eye makeup thoroughly, over time, your eye skin can develop pigmentation, and you'll be living with panda eyes for life. Today, I'll guide you through six correct steps for eye makeup removal.

Step 1: Use a cotton swab dipped in makeup remover to clean mascara

Prepare a cotton swab and tissue. Fold the tissue under your lower eyelid, close your eyes, and dip the cotton swab in makeup remover. Wipe gently from the base of your lashes downwards. Then open your eyes, place the tissue under your lower lashes, and repeat the wiping motion from the base of your lashes downwards.

Step 2: Use a cotton pad soaked in eye-specific makeup remover and gently press on your eyes for 5 seconds

This allows enough time for the remover to dissolve waterproof mascara and eyeliner. Following the texture of your eyelids, gently remove makeup from the inner to the outer corner of your eyes.

Step 3: Apply a drop of makeup remover to a cotton pad and close your eyes

Wipe gently from the inner to the outer corner of your eyelids, following the natural texture. When wiping off eyeliner, look upwards. Avoid overstretching your eye skin to prevent fine lines.

Step 4: Clean your eyebrows first from the inside out, then use the other side of the cotton pad to clean in the opposite direction

Dip a cotton swab in makeup remover and carefully wipe your eyebrows.

Step 5: After removing mascara and eyeshadow, tackle lingering eyeliner or eyeshadow residue

These can be found on small lashes or in eyelid creases. Use a cotton swab dipped in makeup remover and wipe carefully, perpendicular to your eyes. Avoid letting makeup residue stay on the delicate skin around your eyes, which can cause irritation.

Step 6: Gently wipe your eyebrows to remove any eyebrow makeup residue
