What are the possible causes of dizziness in recent days?
In recent days, dizziness can be caused by many reasons, including colds and fatigue, as well as more serious diseases. For instance, it may be due to brain ischemia, brain trauma, or brain lesions caused by epilepsy. Additionally, it may be related to the spine or ear diseases, and should not be overlooked in cases of anemia or cardiovascular diseases.
Causes of Dizziness:
1. Neurological disorders such as cerebral ischemia, cerebellar disorders, brain lesions, brain trauma, and certain types of epilepsy. Moreover, patients with vegetative nerve dysfunction and certain neuroses may often feel dizzy.
2. Ear diseases that affect balance and cause dizziness.
3. Internal diseases such as hypertension, hypotension, various cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, anemia, infection, poisoning, hypoglycemia, etc.
4. Colds or fatigue may sometimes lead to symptoms of dizziness.
5. Cervical spine issues. Blockage of arterial blood supply caused by cervical spine problems can result in insufficient blood supply to the brain, which is the main cause of dizziness, often accompanied by nausea, palpitations, and other symptoms.
6. Anemia. If dizziness is accompanied by fatigue and pale complexion, anemia should be considered.
7. Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular reasons. Cerebral arteriosclerosis reduces the inner diameter of cerebral blood vessels, resulting in decreased blood flow in the brain and insufficient blood and oxygen supply, causing dizziness. Heart conditions such as cardiac arrest, paroxysmal tachycardia, paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, and ventricular fibrillation can lead to acute cerebral ischemia, manifesting as dizziness and blurred vision.
