Sunlight Dermatitis, also known as solar allergic dermatitis, is usually caused by excessive exposure to sunlight, resulting in skin damage or sunburn. As an allergic skin disease, patients may experience symptoms such as erythema, blisters, and erosion on their skin. In addition to avoiding prolonged exposure to sunlight, patients can also use traditional Chinese medicine remedies for treatment.

One course of treatment is 7 days. For better results, topical medications can be used in combination. Prepare 30 grams each of Angelica sinensis, Artemisia argyi, Coptidis rhizome, and Glycyrrhiza uralensis. Boil in water and apply the cold wet compress to the affected area for 15-30 minutes each time, once a day. Each dose can be used 3-5 times until recovery.

The strongest sunlight occurs between 10 am and 2 pm, during which time UV rays are most intense and harmful. Therefore, during spring and summer, it is recommended to reduce outdoor activities and take sun protection measures when going out.
