How to Use Jiuli Hydrochloride Glucosamine Tablets?

With age, our bones gradually degenerate, leading to the development of osteoarthritis in many people, such as in the knee, hip, shoulder, and ankle joints. Jiuli Hydrochloride Glucosamine Tablets are a medication used to prevent chronic diseases of the joints throughout the body. The primary method of administration is oral, which can be taken before or after meals. Typically, it is taken twice a day.

Jiuli Hydrochloride Glucosamine Tablets are indicated for the treatment and prevention of osteoarthritis in all parts of the body, including the knee, hip, spine, shoulder, hand and wrist, and ankle joints.

Jiuli Hydrochloride Glucosamine Tablets are taken orally, with a dosage of 240mg-480mg (1-2 tablets) three times a day, or as prescribed by a doctor. Depending on the patient's condition, the medication should be taken continuously for 4-12 weeks. If necessary, the duration of use can be extended under the guidance of a doctor. Repeat treatment is recommended 2-3 times per year.

Rare adverse reactions to Jiuli Hydrochloride Glucosamine Tablets include mild gastrointestinal discomfort such as nausea, constipation, bloating, and diarrhea. Some patients may also experience allergic reactions, including skin rash, itching, and erythema.

Jiuli Hydrochloride Glucosamine Tablets are contraindicated in patients with a known allergy to glucosamine.

No studies have been conducted on patients with liver or kidney dysfunction. The toxicity and pharmacokinetic data of this medication do not indicate any restrictions for these patients. However, patients with severe liver or kidney dysfunction should have regular monitoring of liver and kidney function after taking the medication.

Use in Pregnant and Lactating Women: In animal studies, no adverse effects on reproductive function or lactation were observed. Due to the lack of human studies, pregnant and lactating women should use hydrochloric acid glucosamine after weighing the pros and cons. Avoid taking this medication during the first 3 months of pregnancy.

1. This medication may increase the absorption of tetracycline drugs in the gastrointestinal tract and reduce the absorption of oral penicillin and chloramphenicol.

2. Patients taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may need to reduce the dosage of this medication or the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug.

3. There may be an interaction between this medication and diuretics. When taken concomitantly, an increase in the dosage of diuretics may be necessary.
