Why Is the Heart Pulse Weak?
Heart pulse weakness is actually a weakening of the heartbeat. This condition may occur when blood pressure is low. Another scenario is heart failure, where the heart is unable to contract effectively, which can also affect the pulse and lead to heart pulse weakness. Additionally, some people may experience insufficient qi and blood or anemia, and these conditions may also be detected through physical examination, manifesting as heart pulse weakness. When heart pulse weakness becomes severe, it is recommended to promptly seek medical attention and undergo examination. If the heart rate and pulse reach 50 beats per minute in a resting state, observation can be temporarily considered. However, if the heart rate falls below 40 beats per minute, the installation of a pacemaker may be considered. If the patient's condition is caused by hypothyroidism or hyperkalemia, treatment should be targeted at the underlying disease. Diuretic medications or drugs to treat thyroid dysfunction may be prescribed for combined treatment. Patients should also avoid unfavorable factors such as fatigue, staying up late, and emotional instability. Regular hospital visits for physical examination are also recommended. Besides seeking timely medical attention, patients should ensure adequate sleep and engage in regular physical exercise to enhance their physical resilience and immunity.
