Where is the location of the prostate gland?
The prostate is located above the urogenital diaphragm and below the bladder neck, surrounding the bladder outlet and integrating with the urethra. It is an accessory gland of the male reproductive glands, roughly resembling an inverted chestnut shape. The tip points forward and downward towards the distal end of the urethra, while the base is close to the bladder neck. In front of the prostate is the pubic bone and the retropubic space, while behind it is the rectum.
