What are the symptoms or reactions during the 37th day of pregnancy?
After pregnancy, the hormones in a woman's body will change, especially in the early stages, when there may be some special symptoms, medically known as early pregnancy reactions. However, not all reactions occur after pregnancy, and some symptoms can be used as a reference. But specifically for each pregnant woman, the bodily reactions can vary, which is important to understand. So, what reactions might occur at 37 days of pregnancy? Let's take a look.
1. Cessation of Menstruation: If a couple has sexual activity around the ovulation period and no contraceptive measures are taken, and if the menstrual cycle is normally regular, the sudden appearance of menstrual cessation symptoms lasting more than 5 days may indicate pregnancy.
2. Nausea and Vomiting: Starting from around the 5th week of pregnancy, many pregnant women experience morning sickness. Especially in the morning and evening, nausea and vomiting can occur without any apparent cause. The exact cause of morning sickness is not yet clear, but data suggests that it may be related to the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG). During early pregnancy, the level of HCG begins to rise in the body, and the higher the level of this hormone, the more likely a woman is to feel nauseous.
3. Breast Swelling and Softening: One to two weeks after conception, your breasts may become swollen and softer. Due to pregnancy stimulation, the body produces more estrogen and progesterone, causing the mammary glands to start growing, thus enlarging the breasts. These hormones also allow the breasts to retain more fluid, making them tender and sore.
4. Increased Vaginal Discharge: After pregnancy, the level of estrogen gradually increases as the pregnancy progresses. Estrogen stimulates the cervix and endometrial glands to secrete mucus. The blood flow in the vagina, cervix, and other areas increases, and the tissue becomes more hydrated, leading to an increase in secretions and vaginal discharge.
5. Mild Vaginal Bleeding: The fertilized egg implants in the uterus six to twelve days after conception, which may cause mild vaginal bleeding. If this occurs, and the bleeding is mild and accompanied by no severe discomfort, the pregnant woman should not be concerned as it is a normal physiological reaction during implantation and poses no harm to the body. Implantation bleeding manifests as small amounts of blood streaks or spots, visible several times a day, lasting for about three days without the discomfort associated with menstruation. It is important to distinguish implantation bleeding from menstruation to avoid unawareness of pregnancy.
