Symptoms of Vitiligo

Treatments for Vitiligo
Currently, medication is an effective way to control vitiligo. For mild cases, topical application can be chosen. Corticosteroid-containing ointments or solutions can be applied to the white patches, and commonly used drugs include Kenacort ointment, Halog ointment, Eufucort ointment, etc. The recently introduced Elocon ointment has also achieved good therapeutic effects. However, these drugs can cause capillary dilation and skin atrophy, so they should be used cautiously on facial white patches.
