First, take emergency measures to immediately calm down, rest, or take nitroglycerin. If the symptoms do not improve after taking medication, seek medical attention promptly.

Symptoms of Angina Pectoris

1. The symptoms of sudden angina pectoris often manifest as dull pain in the middle and lower segment of the sternum behind the anterior chest, with a range of about the size of a palm.

2. The nature of the pain is dull and pressing, which may radiate to the back and last for 3-5 minutes, either resolving spontaneously or after taking nitroglycerin.

3. It may be accompanied by a sense of impending death, profuse sweating, palpitations, dizziness, and fatigue.

What to Do for Angina Pectoris

1. If angina pectoris occurs, rest immediately.

2. If angina pectoris occurs during exercise, stop exercising immediately.

3. If angina pectoris occurs due to emotional excitement, calm down immediately.

4. Take emergency medication by placing nitroglycerin under the tongue immediately. If the symptoms do not improve within 3-5 minutes, repeat the dose of nitroglycerin after 5-15 minutes.

5. If the symptoms still do not improve, seek medical attention promptly for further examination and treatment.

6. It is recommended to undergo electrocardiogram and echocardiogram, and if necessary, coronary CT angiography to assess myocardial blood supply.
