How Can I Achieve a Speedy Natural Birth?
If a pregnant mother chooses vaginal delivery, the fetus will have stronger resistance through the squeezing of the birth canal. However, not every pregnant mother is suitable for vaginal delivery. For example, if the fetus is relatively large or the pregnant mother has poor physical fitness, cesarean section may be needed. Of course, during pregnancy, if the pregnant mother can pay attention to some matters, it can increase the probability of vaginal delivery. Then how can we quickly achieve vaginal delivery? Criterion 1: Cooperation of the fetus. Vaginal delivery cannot be achieved without the cooperation of the fetus. Because a series of factors such as the position, location, head circumference, number of fetuses, and health status of the fetus may affect the progress of labor and the mode of delivery. If the weight of the fetus exceeds 4000 grams or the fetal position is incorrect, such as breech presentation or transverse presentation, it is not conducive to vaginal delivery. Criterion 2: Pelvic conditions. The pelvis has two diameters in structure, with a short anteroposterior diameter and a wide transverse diameter, which is conducive to the fetus passing through and natural delivery. If the pelvis is naturally narrow, with a long anteroposterior diameter and a narrow transverse diameter, it will be difficult for the fetus to be delivered. Therefore, a perfectly shaped pelvis is indeed beneficial for natural childbirth. At the end of pregnancy, doctors will measure the size of the inlet and outlet of the mother's pelvis. If the inlet is too small, the baby's head cannot enter the pelvis normally, and vaginal delivery cannot be achieved. Criterion 3: Sufficient birth force. Giving birth is a physically demanding task. To successfully deliver the baby through vaginal delivery, the mother needs to reserve sufficient birth force. Birth force mainly relies on uterine contraction force, but the contraction force of abdominal wall muscles and diaphragm is also an important part of birth force. If the pregnant mother has muscle fatigue, it will cause difficulties in the production of the fetus. Therefore, pregnant mothers should exercise appropriately during pregnancy to increase muscle strength and improve cardiopulmonary function. The benefits of these exercises can be felt during childbirth. Criterion 4: Confidence in vaginal delivery. Although natural childbirth is a normal physiological process, some pregnant mothers may still feel nervous and fearful due to fear of pain, bleeding, and difficult childbirth. This fear and anxiety can inhibit uterine contractions through the central nervous system, resulting in weak contractions and prolonged labor. Therefore, pregnant mothers should have confidence in themselves and believe that they can deliver smoothly.
