What are the main functions and indications of Chlorpromazine Hydrochloride Injection?
1. It has good therapeutic effects on positive symptoms such as excitement, agitation, hallucinations, thinking disorders, and behavioral disorders. It is suitable for schizophrenia, mania, or other mental disorders.
2. It treats vomiting or stubborn hiccups caused by various reasons.
For schizophrenia and mania, intramuscular injection is recommended: 25~50mg (1-2 vials), twice daily. Patients should start with a small dose of 25~50mg (1-2 vials) diluted in 500ml of glucose sodium chloride injection. The dose can be slowly increased by 25~50mg (1-2 vials) every 1~2 days. The therapeutic dose is 100~200mg per day, not suitable for intravenous injection.
1. Be cautious in patients with cardiovascular diseases (such as heart failure, myocardial infarction, conduction abnormalities, etc.).
2. If tardive dyskinesia occurs, stop using all antipsychotic drugs.
3. Patients with allergic skin reactions and malignant syndrome should immediately discontinue the medication and take appropriate measures.
4. Patients who experience orthostatic hypotension after medication should rest in bed. If the blood pressure is too low, norepinephrine can be administered intravenously, and epinephrine is prohibited.
5. Patients with impaired liver and kidney function should receive a reduced dose.
