Body odor is a very unpleasant smell, and there are many people who suffer from it, especially during the summer when the odor can be nauseating. Since body odor is difficult to cover up with perfume or deodorant, the methods used to remove it often involve surgery or traditional remedies. These traditional remedies have a certain basis for treating major illnesses. There are some homemade remedies that can be used to treat body odor, as detailed below:

1. Ginger

Ginger slices are often used as a seasoning in our daily lives, and they have a certain antibacterial effect. Simply wash the ginger slices, slice them, and apply them to your armpits twice a day, rubbing for approximately 5 minutes each time. After a week, the body odor will be greatly alleviated, and it can also effectively stimulate the sweat glands.

2. Tomato

After taking a bath, add 100 milliliters of tomato juice to a basin of warm water. Use two towels to sandwich your armpits and keep them there for 15 minutes. This can eliminate body odor. If it doesn't work the first time, you can repeat the treatment multiple times over several days.

3. Borneol

Place 3 grams of borneol in 20 milliliters of 50% alcohol, seal it, and allow it to dissolve naturally. Then wash your armpits with soap and water, dry them, and apply the solution twice a day. After 10 days (1 course of treatment), it can effectively suppress and even cure body odor.

4. Chili powder

Put 50 grams of fresh chili powder into 300 milliliters of iodine tincture and soak it for 15 days. Wipe off the sweat stains on your armpits twice a day, morning and evening, and then apply the solution to the affected area. You will see results.

5. Salt

Fry the salt until it is hot, then put it into a gauze bag. While it is still hot, tie it up and rub it repeatedly on both armpits for about 5 minutes, once a day, for 5 consecutive days.

6. Large field snail

Place a large field snail in clean water until its shell opens. Immediately use a needle to insert a grain of croton beans into the snail's cavity and place it in a cup. After about 1 hour, the snail will turn into water. Use this water to apply multiple times to both armpits to eliminate body odor.

7. Peach leaves

Mash 50 grams of peach leaves and 50 grams of pumpkin leaves and apply them to the affected area, 2 to 4 times a day.

8. Mugwort

Dry and grind 20 grams of mugwort into a fine powder. Mix it with 20 grams of alum (also finely ground) and 200 grams of salt. Heat the mixture in a pan, remove it, wrap it in a cloth, and apply it to your armpits. Make sure it doesn't burn your skin. After 5 minutes, the odor will be gone. This method can last for over a month with just one application.
